What is the Hangout Zone?
The Hangout Zone is the best place in the TeenHQ to chat, read a book, and kickback and relax in the library. We’ve installed unique and comfortable furniture including eggshell chairs, bar seating, and lounge chairs right next to our windows, perfect for reading, getting some sun, or just staring out into space.
We’ve also stocked the space with beanbags and bungee chairs. Feel free to take them anywhere in the TeenHQ and customize the Hangout Zone the way you want it.
Who Can Use the Hangout Zone?
The Hangout Zone is for use by library customers between the ages of 12 and 18.
The library may also host special times for adults to enjoy the Hangout Zone. Please keep an eye on the King Library calendar to learn about these adult programs as they are scheduled.
